5-time World Champion Jorge Lorenzo take three crowns in the premier class – in 2010, 2012 and 2015.

A Spanish rider, Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero born 4th of May 1987 in the Balearic island of Mallorca. In 1995, age eight years, he won the Balearic title and also won the Island’s mini cross, trial, minimoto and junior motocross titles. Lorenzo joined road racing in 1997 and won a title in 1998 with Aprilia 50cc.

In 2000 despite officially being too young he allowed to compete in the Spanish 125cc series at the age of 13 years and made his history by becoming the youngest ever winner of a European 125cc race.

Lorenzo joined the 125cc world championship in 2002 on his 15th birthday with Derbi RS125. He moved to the 250cc class in 2005 and won titles one after another in 2006 and 2007. Lorenzo’s victory at Misano in 2007 made him the most successful Spanish rider of all time in the intermediate class. Lorenzo moved to the premier class in 2008 and still competing.
